Learn to craft Flash Fiction and Flash Nonfiction
Stories can close the distance between strangers. Like a bridge, they can help us meet each other. When our stories are in the world, we don’t know who will find them or who they will touch and hold hands with.
Have you ever wanted to write a story either fiction or creative nonfiction, but can’t work out how to start?
If you’re already writing, would you like to try something new?
Are you interested in improving your writing and editing skills in fun and creative ways?
Need a jumpstart for your creativity?
It doesn’t matter if you’re currently writing or if you haven’t written anything creative since school. This course is for everyone.
The writing and editing skills we’ll use to write compelling flash are transferable and will help tighten and sharpen every other form of writing.
I have twenty years teaching experience and a Bachelor of Education from Uni London. You’re in good hands and I’d love to write with you.
WHAT IS FLASH?
Flash is a writing genre.

WRITE WITH ME WORKSHOPS
They say everyone’s got a book in them, but who’s got time to write a book? Instead, beautifully craft a story from your life in just one page.
Do you have a story about a turning point in your life?
Or about enduring love?
Has your heart been trampled, broken and reassembled?
Could you write about a time when you were incredibly strong and brave?
Have you ever buckled under the weight of an event you thought would crush and defeat you, but you overcame?
If the theme of a writing workshop was Endings and Beginnings.
What story would you tell?
If the theme was success, would you think outside the box?
Our stories are precious cargo.
My workshops are designed for community groups and government organisations, workplaces and corporate environments. The invitation is to craft personal stories on chosen themes in just one page.
